Examination Rules & Guidelines
At IIMS, we strive to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and fairness in all examinations. To ensure a smooth and disciplined examination process, students and staff are required to adhere to the guidelines and regulations set by the college.
The Hall Ticket is issued only to students who meet the minimum attendance requirement and comply with all rules and regulations set by the college.
Students must take their allotted seats in the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
No student is allowed to leave the examination hall within the first 60 minutes of the exam.
Strict silence must be maintained in the examination hall at all times.
Students must adhere to the college dress code; those improperly attired will not be permitted inside the examination hall.
Students must bring their own pens, pencils, calculators, and erasers. Only blue or black ink is allowed for answering papers.
Upon receiving the answer booklet, students must verify the correctness of their Registration Number, Semester, Course Code, Course Name, Session, and Exam Date on the first page.
Writing the register number anywhere other than the designated space will result in rejection of the answer booklet and may be treated as malpractice.
Students are strictly prohibited from tampering with barcodes on the answer booklet, as this will lead to rejection from evaluation.
Exceeding the allotted time for the examination is not permitted.
Students are not allowed to talk or ask questions of any kind once the exam begins.
Carrying unauthorized materials, such as written/printed notes, books, mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices (including programmable calculators, USB drives, iPads), or any unauthorized sheets or data tables is strictly prohibited. Possession of such items will lead to disciplinary action.
Students must not pass any part of their answer sheet or question paper to another student.
Students must not allow others to copy from their answer sheets or attempt to copy from another student. Anyone found involved in such activities will face strict disciplinary action.
Any student found guilty of using unfair means during the exam will be subject to serious disciplinary action.
Before leaving the examination hall, students must hand over their answer booklets to the invigilator.
The Hall Ticket is an important document. If lost or forgotten, students must apply for a temporary hall ticket by paying the prescribed fee.
Students must carry their University ID card for both regular and back paper examinations.
Disciplinary Consequences
Any breach of examination rules may result in suspension or expulsion from the college, based on the severity of the violation.
Remember: Academic integrity is the foundation of quality education. Follow all rules for a fair and successful examination experience.
